We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Construction Manager to join our team at The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, with experience in hiring, supervising, and scheduling staff. You will also be responsible for planning and estimating labour and materials, as well as maintaining work records and logs.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, subcontractors, and clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3-5 years of experience in landscape construction
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Leadership and communication skills
