The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features. Your leadership skills and experience in managing staff and materials will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities to meet client needs.
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials for projects.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
  • Maintain work records and logs to track project progress.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to meet project deadlines.
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscape construction.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing staff and materials.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
