Landscaping Team Lead

The Great Canadian Landscaping Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers, gardeners, and other outdoor staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate with clients to schedule events, programs, and activities that require our landscaping services.
- Schedule Work: Plan and schedule work for our team to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop detailed plans and estimates for landscaping projects, including labour and material requirements.
- Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscaping features.
- Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Ensure that all landscaping construction work is completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain Work Records and Logs: Keep accurate records of work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure materials, equipment, and supplies needed for landscaping projects.
- Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop daily plans and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Assess the effectiveness of daily operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Coordinate Subcontractors' Activities: Work with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of landscaping projects.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
- Personal Suitability: Leadership skills.

- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
