Theatre Directors Internship Opportunity

The Shaw Festival Theatre is seeking two talented directors to participate in our Neil Munro Intern Directors Project. This esteemed program offers early to mid-career directors a unique opportunity to develop their skills and gain valuable experience within a leading theatre company.
As part of this initiative, the selected directors will have access to pre-production training and ongoing workshops with resident designers and visiting master directors. They will work closely with the Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director to curate a showcase featuring one-act plays.
This internship is an excellent chance for emerging directors to hone their craft, build relationships with industry professionals, and contribute to the artistic vision of The Shaw Festival Theatre.

About the Role: We are looking for two dynamic directors to join our team and contribute to the success of our Neil Munro Intern Directors Project. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for directing three shows during the season, delivering pre-show chats, and participating in education and outreach activities.
