Rehabilitation Assistant Opportunity

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of our senior residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the delivery of treatment plans
  • Perform various treatments as prescribed by supervising Physiotherapists
  • Conduct exercise classes and maintain a safe and tidy treatment area
  • Communicate effectively with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists regarding resident status and treatment interventions
  • Complete daily treatment records as directed
Requirements:
  • Rehabilitation Assistant/Exercise Therapist/Physical Education academic background
  • Previous experience working in a Seniors' care setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and independent
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
