Rehabilitation Assistant Job Description

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of Senior Wellness residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the treatment of residents, including performing various components of the treatment plan.
  • Conduct exercise classes and set up, prepare, and maintain equipment as needed.
  • Ensure the gym and treatment area are safe and tidy.
  • Communicate effectively with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists regarding resident status and treatment interventions.
  • Complete daily treatment records as directed.
Requirements:
  • Rehabilitation Assistant/Exercise Therapist/Physical Education academic background.
  • Previous experience working in a Seniors' care setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and independent.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
