Return to Work Specialist: Expert in Disability Management

This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in disability management and vocational rehabilitation to drive optimal outcomes for injured workers and their employers. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop customized return-to-work plans that promote early and safe returns to the workplace.
A successful candidate will possess a strong educational background in a relevant field such as disability management, health sciences, social work, or psychology. Additionally, they must have prior experience working in return to work, disability management, or vocational rehabilitation, preferably with at least one year and six months of experience.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Representing the WSIB as a Brand Ambassador and promoting its leading Return-to-Work Program
- Applying evidence-based practices to achieve optimal RTW outcomes and prevent injury/illness and disease
- Evaluating and assessing case needs through a holistic approach, considering internal and external customers' perspectives
- Coordinating and facilitating worksite meetings to lead RTW discussions and identify potential barriers
We offer a competitive salary range estimated to be around $94,583.02 per annum, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required for this position.
