As a Tax Planning Expert, you'll help our clients with corporate tax planning so they can benefit from tax savings and incentives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
  • Establishing deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
  • Reviewing corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyzing, reviewing and completing corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Proactively resolving tax-related issues with clients and other team members
  • Acting as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

Think you've got what it takes to be a Tax Planning Expert? You'll need:

  • To be enrolled in or have completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Master's of Taxation degree
  • To have developed and presented new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • To have solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance
  • To have helped mentor and develop others
