As a Tax Manager, you'll help our clients with corporate tax planning so they can benefit from tax savings and incentives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of tax colleagues on compliance, helping them walk in clients' shoes by discussing tax planning options
  • Establish deep trusting relationships with clients as you advise them on complex tax matters
  • Review corporate tax provisions and compliance engagements, and analyze, review and complete corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Proactively resolve tax-related issues with clients and other team members
  • Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice, identifying and developing new opportunities for additional tax services

Requirements:

  • You're enrolled in or have completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Master's of Taxation degree
  • You've developed and presented new ideas and conceptualized new approaches and tax solutions for clients as part of your commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • You have solid experience in corporate and personal Canadian tax compliance
  • You've helped mentor and develop others
