Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our Farm Management Consulting team. As a trusted advisor, you will provide comprehensive analysis and strategic guidance to empower clients to achieve optimal business performance and build a sustainable, competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, and program redesigns for clients across various sectors.
  • Conduct detailed research and data collection, interviews, focus groups, and surveys to inform business decisions.
  • Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients and ensure their needs are met and relationships grow and develop.
  • Design and develop high-quality deliverables, including proposals, engagement letters, reports, presentations, and other correspondence.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals.
  • Collaborate with the client engagement team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • CMC, PMP, Lean, or other related certifications are considered an asset.
  • 2 to 3 years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment.
  • Experience in business and practice development is considered an asset.
  • Experience in project management is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
