About the Role

The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Wholesaler to generate sales and develop new business, as well as service and manage existing clients about Dynamic products. This role requires a strong understanding of company and competitor products and policies, industry changes, market conditions, and client business practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Wholesaler by following up on meetings, road shows, events, and webcasts.
  • Initiate phone contact with clients to begin or expand on existing relationships.
  • Keep an archive of relevant information pertaining to products, policies, procedures, and rules for dissemination to clients.
  • Ensure regional events and road shows are well attended through outbound call campaigns.
  • Occasionally, representatives will travel and attend individual meetings, and will be required to attend meetings with the Wholesaler at least once a month.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Associate to determine priorities and tasks to be completed.
  • Make daily Purchase and Redemption calls to clients to identify trends, prospects, and first-time tickets.
  • Create broadcast emails with pertinent marketing and product information to advisors via ODD filters and share with the sales department.
  • Data Mine using the Diagnostic Selling Process and populate the CRM system with information retrieved during phone calls and surveys.
  • Participate in national, regional, departmental, and project group meetings, sharing feedback and information.
  • Assist the Wholesaler in segmenting the client base to define service levels and ensure sales from various distribution channels and firms.
  • Act as a liaison with the Product Manager to set up Manager meetings, conferences calls, and webcasts.
  • Escalate client issues to the appropriate department and the Wholesaler.
  • Be involved in special projects as required.
  • Assist the Wholesaler in developing a strategic business plan for the year and review it quarterly with the team to increase sales from advisors in the territory.
