A leading Canadian insurance provider specializing in property and casualty insurance with over 500 employees. Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Director to lead our security operations and ensure the protection of our clients' data. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience managing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on security operations through collaboration with our MSP provider
  • Establish risk tolerance levels and ensure our security program complies with regulatory guidelines
  • Recommend continuous improvements to enhance security resilience
  • Analyze budgetary constraints and investment needs to ensure proper execution of security initiatives
  • Develop and enforce IT policies to ensure organization-wide compliance
  • Plan and implement digital modernization and transformation initiatives
  • Develop and manage a framework to evaluate the maturity of our cybersecurity program

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, with a focus on security
  • 13+ years of leadership experience in a cybersecurity environment
  • CISSP Certification is required
  • Experience in Azure, M365, and AWS
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
