Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst - Real Estate to join our team at CAT inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in helping us improve our financial processes and accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure accurate general accounting and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, accounts receivables and payables reconciliations, and internal controls for the Real Estate team.
  • Collect and reconcile financial data for the group's real estate portfolio.
  • Consolidate company financial results for internal review.
  • Perform USD revaluation calculations and tax processes for each company.
  • Ensure the establishment, monitoring, and compliance of regulatory reports with government authorities in each jurisdiction.
  • Coordinate activities with external auditors.
Acquisition/Disposition Management
  • Manage new acquisitions and/or disposition of buildings, including obtaining legal information and updating the rent roll.
  • Create new businesses in our accounting system as needed.
Information Systems
  • Collaborate with the Information Systems team to implement a building management system.
  • Ensure the application of governance rules regarding the protection and integrity of company data.
Financial Analysis
  • Develop tools and processes for analyzing the profitability of each building owned.
  • Recommend improvements related to company IT systems.
  • Develop dashboards and financial indicators for managers and make recommendations to improve results.
Financial Management and Risk Management
  • Coordinate the financial planning process and budget for each building and the real estate department.
  • Collaborate on cash management and identify and manage business risks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Accounting title (CPA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • English (spoken and written).
  • French (spoken and written).
