About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Total Rewards Specialist to join our team at Pelmorex Corp. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a pivotal role in leading the oversight and review of our compensation and benefit plans, HR technology, and the successful delivery of HR programs and policies in alignment with our overall rewards strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the HRBP team to provide consultative services to managers, employees, and the team on different rewards requests, including compensation, job evaluation, market benchmarking.
  • Utilize data analytics and market research to evaluate the effectiveness of current total rewards programs, identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead benefit administration, working with external consultants to stay ahead of benefits market trends and ensure our programs are competitive and meet the needs of all our diverse employees.
  • Administer the job evaluation program, creating and maintaining comprehensive job descriptions and conducting reviews of existing and new jobs.
  • Manage compensation recommendations and decisions for all employees across the organization.
  • Create and maintain Pay Equity plans, ensuring compliance with new and existing legislation.
  • Support the ongoing administration of compensation programs, including merit and bonus plans.
  • Participate in annual compensation surveys.
  • Administer sick leaves in the organization (STD, LTD).
  • Introduce and enhance people programs/initiatives that continue to create an exceptional employee experience.
  • Recommend solutions that foster continuous improvement in self-services for clients.
  • Assist with HR projects and various programs as needed.
  • Client-centric, striving to create the ultimate employee experience.
  • Partner with the People Insights Specialist to provide monthly and quarterly reports, audits, and analysis to support total rewards initiatives.
  • Maintain Employment Equity reporting and analysis.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized post-secondary Human Resources program and a minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources is required.
  • Expertise in Excel is a must-have.
  • You are tech-savvy with strong G-suite skills.
  • CCP designation (preferred).
  • Exposure to US Benefit Plans is ideal.
  • Sales compensation exposure is ideal.
  • Experience with HRIS and performance management systems would be an asset. Exposure to Dayforce HCM is a bonus. Pay Equity Experience would be a bonus.
