Produce Department Manager

About the Opportunity:
Red River Co-op is seeking a skilled Produce Manager to lead our produce department at our Lorette Food Store. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the produce department to achieve sales and profit targets
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to minimize waste and maximize sales
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of produce department staff
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will bring a minimum of three years of retail experience, preferably in a produce or grocery store environment. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. A solid understanding of computer applications, including Microsoft Office, is also essential.
