Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Primary Health Care Clinic Nurse to join the Downtown Eastside Youth Outreach team in Vancouver, BC.
As a Primary Health Care Clinic Nurse with VCH, you will provide primary health care services, including clinical nursing, health promotion, and prevention, in inter-disciplinary clinic settings to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides primary health care services, including clinical nursing, health promotion, and prevention, in inter-disciplinary clinic settings to clients of all ages.
- Consults, confers, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, educational resources, and other healthcare professionals/providers in the coordination of health services for clients and in the achievement of excellence in client-centered care and education.
Qualifications
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Two (2) years' experience that includes recent community health and clinic nursing; experience working with clients of all ages, including antepartum and postpartum women, infants, children, and youth, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to speak a second language may be required and will be noted on the posting if required.
