Job Title: Youth Clinic Nurse - Primary Care and Mental Health
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Clinic Nurse to join our primary care team at Foundry's Granville Clinic. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to youth and young adults in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care required to assist patients/residents in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs.
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the plan of care.
- Provide direct nursing interventions for management of crisis and life-threatening situations.
- Document information including assessments, plan of care, patient/resident status, and progress.
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Two years' recent, related experience working with youth and young adults in a primary care and mental health/substance use setting.
- Completion of the Point of Care HIV Testing course and successful completion of the BCCDC Immunization certificate.
- CRNBC Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Management certification or evidence of enrollment.
