Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Leonardo Canada - Electronics (TTI - Tactical Technologies Inc.). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading engineering projects from inception to completion, providing technical leadership, project planning, execution, resource planning, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as liaison between management and project teams, ensuring timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Build strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration and communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues, ensuring proactive resolution and mitigation.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Compile regular project reports, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Recognized degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or applicable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 5 years' experience in software, systems, or other relevant engineering discipline, and 5 years' experience in project management.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, advanced skills with Project Management tools and techniques, and experience with subcontract management.
  • Security Clearance: Eligibility for Controlled Goods Regulations Program (CGRP) government clearances and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian Industrial Security Clearance to NATO SECRET level.
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Project Management Certification: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or willingness to obtain the credential.
  • Defense Industry Experience: Experience in the defense industry, with knowledge of RF design, Radar, or Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Agile Project Management: Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
