Accounting Clerk
At Aastha Lawyers Professional Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Responsibilities:
* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Prepare trial balance of books
Requirements:
* Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
* or equivalent experience
Work Term: Permanent
Work Language: English
Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
