Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Wenqian Xu. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. This is a temporary, 30-hour per week position, requiring excellent oral communication skills, reliability, and patience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as laundry, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and support to clients, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
  • Perform light exercise and activities with clients, such as walking or swimming.
  • Administer first aid when necessary, holding a valid First Aid Certificate.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, reliability, and patience.
Work Environment

Our Home Support Workers work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and support to clients in their homes. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, with a focus on promoting independence and dignity.
