About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal hygiene and daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Support clients with exercise routines, such as walking, to promote physical well-being.
  • Change non-sterile dressings and assist with feeding, always prioritizing client safety and satisfaction.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, respecting clients' property and space.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing and dressing, while promoting independence and confidence.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • CPR Certificate: Ensuring you are equipped to respond in emergency situations.
  • First Aid Certificate: Demonstrating your ability to provide basic care and treatment.
Requirements and Expectations
  • Criminal Record Check: A necessary step in verifying your suitability for this role.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Essential for transporting clients, if required.
  • Work Term: Permanent Position: A long-term commitment to our team and our clients.
  • Work Language: English: Effective communication is crucial in this role.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week: A balanced work schedule that allows for quality time with clients.
Compensation Package
