About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist clients with medication routines and provide transportation to appointments and errands.
  • Perform basic housekeeping tasks, including laundry and cleaning.
  • Provide quality time and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as reading, watching movies, or playing games.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
