Cancer Care Administrative Coordinator

**Overview of the Role:**
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at PHSA, providing administrative support within a collaborative health care environment.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cancer Care Administrative Coordinator to provide secretarial and administrative support within our oncology clinic. As a member of the healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for patients, families, and staff by adhering to safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Exceptional Support: Offer administrative assistance to the clinical team, including coordinating appointments, tests, and other related tasks.
- Communicate Effectively: Respond to calls from patients, refer calls to other parties, or provide information as necessary, while determining the urgency of incoming calls and taking appropriate action.
- Coordinate Meetings: Arrange meetings, conferences, and associated logistics, acting as a recording secretary by preparing agendas, drafting, typing, and distributing minutes.
- Manage Mail and Information: Open, screen, prioritize, and distribute mail, maintaining accurate records and correspondence.
- Assist with Reporting: Help collect, collate, format, and prepare reports as required, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Support Research Activities: Collaborate with clinicians to prepare research documents and grant applications, collecting information and updating documents as needed.
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
