Job Summary:

AFIMAC Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients in various settings, including labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made crises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services to clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond to and manage crisis situations, including labour disruptions and organized protests
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats
  • Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to ensure effective security solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents and activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related field
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within your home province
  • Ability to work 84 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to sit, walk, stand, and drive for extended periods of time
  • Able to read, write, and speak English
  • Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
  • Excellent report writing skills
