Assistant Professor in Composition/Theory

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure track position in Composition/Theory at the rank of Assistant Professor within the School for the Arts at the University of Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in composition, theory, and related subject areas
- Develop and teach new undergraduate and/or graduate level courses
- Contribute to ongoing research, scholarly, and artistic work (RSAW)
- Provide leadership in the composition and theory areas, including recruitment and administrative activities
Candidates must hold a Doctorate (DMA or in composition or theory or a related music field) or a Master's in Composition with a significant and ongoing record of professional success in music composition at the international level.
Post-secondary teaching experience is considered an asset.
