Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical planning, execution, and closure of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement project technical requirements, ensuring they meet the company's quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring they do not impact the project's overall success.
  • Develop and implement project control processes, ensuring they are aligned with the company's policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and expertise to deliver projects successfully.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or Systems Design).
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of ASME Pressure Vessel Codes (Sec. III and Sec. VIII) is required.
  • Knowledge of Canadian nuclear standards N285.0 and N299 is required.
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
  • Capable of developing practical, innovative solutions for a range of technical challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience related to nuclear pressure vessel equipment design and operation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with degradation mechanisms related to pressure vessels and heat exchangers, including tube wear, stress corrosion cracking, FAC, etc. is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Change Control processes in nuclear power plants is preferred.
