Position Overview

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead redevelopment initiatives and capital expenditure projects within the long-term care sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and monitoring of these projects, ensuring alignment with established timelines and financial parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Development to define project scope.
  • Develop a detailed work plan that outlines and sequences necessary activities for successful project completion.
  • Identify and allocate resources required for project execution.
  • Create a project schedule that optimally distributes resources across activities.
  • Review and adjust project schedules in consultation with senior management and affected staff.
  • Establish objectives and performance measures for project evaluation upon completion.
  • Engage with internal teams and external consultants to ensure design and specification accuracy.
  • Assess and contract qualified professionals for project needs.
  • Implement project plans effectively, documenting all activities.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Regularly review work quality with the project team to uphold Southbridge standards.
  • Prepare management reports detailing project status.
  • Oversee budgeted expenditures and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records for all project activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project outcomes, adhering to budget and quality standards.
  • Evaluate project results against initial planning criteria.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in scheduling and budgeting software, as well as MS Office applications.
