We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team at Leap Recruitment Partners Inc. Our client is a leading insurance company that specializes in delivering innovative insurance solutions for commercial and personal lines. Their team is committed to delivering exceptional service, leveraging deep market knowledge and a proactive approach to managing risks.

The ideal candidate will manage a commercial portfolio, working closely with producers and insurance companies to ensure seamless service delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the commercial portfolio by collaborating with producers and insurance companies on commercial accounts, enhancing processes and procedures to support our brokerage's growth.
  2. Oversee the administrative operations, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, billing, certificates, binders, quoting, cross-selling, up-selling, and general inquiries.
  3. Represent the company at industry events and cultivate relationships with insurance carriers.
  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to new producers and team members.
  5. Proactively build and manage a book of business valued up to 2 million.
  6. Utilize sales skills to grow client relationships and expand the client base.
  7. Work with all major insurance portals to provide comprehensive commercial insurance solutions.
  8. Offer expertise particularly in the contractors and trucking/transportation sectors.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of insurance experience.
  2. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
