Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at 1288223 BC Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and coordinating selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
Responsibilities:
* Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them
* Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent
* Collect and screen applicants, and review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for our organization
* Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates and make recommendations for hire
* Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers
* Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies
* Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes
* Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
Requirements:
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
Work Environment:
* Permanent position
* 35 hours per week
* English language
