About the Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized administrative professional to provide confidential support to the Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of responsibilities, from routine clerical tasks to complex reporting and project work. As the first point of contact for both internal and external clients, there is a focus on providing quality customer service.

You will play a key role in supporting the City's recruitment efforts by coordinating all aspects of the recruitment process. The highly confidential nature of this role requires someone with considerable discretion and professionalism. A commitment to quality and the ability to display considerable attention to detail is critical for success in this vital position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external clients
  • Perform routine clerical tasks and complex reporting and project work

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • One-year college certificate in Business Administration or related discipline
  • At least five years of progressive administrative experience, preferably gained in a human resources environment
  • Strong work ethic and highly developed organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
