Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Victaulic Company. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis, providing actionable insights, and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the FP&A Manager by delivering forward-looking decision support and preparing insightful analysis on various financial aspects, including sales, gross margin, cost of sales, operating expenses, and other manufacturing and distribution costing activities.
  2. Business Process Efficiency: Lead business process efficiency reviews, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities for system automation.
  3. Transfer Pricing: Review and manage transfer pricing for all Victaulic affiliated companies, in partnership with the Corporate Costing Department.
  4. Financial Audits: Conduct audit checks on system transactions and item costs, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
  5. Business Intelligence: Analyze trends and provide insights to the regional executive team and Global Director of FP&A.
  6. Inventory Management: Partner with Operations to manage cycle and physical inventory counts.
  7. Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to implement inventory reduction initiatives.

Annual Responsibilities:

  1. External Audit Support: Assist with external audit preparations, providing schedules as required by the audit firm.
  2. Year-End Processes: Support the year-end standard cost roll-up and inventory revaluation process.
  3. Documentation and Procedures: Update documentation related to procedures and controls around inventory, costing, and FP&A processes.
  4. Forecasting and Budgeting: Participate in the preparation of rolling forecasts and annual budgets, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and capital planning.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  3. Professional Designation: Professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA, CMA) or advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
  4. Skills: Results-oriented with a commitment to quality and a sense of urgency. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and process complex data to generate actionable insights.
  5. Technical Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, with expert-level skills in Excel. Experience with Corporate Performance Management tools (Onestream, HFM) and Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI) is required.
