Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts reconciliation.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as account reconciliations and collections.
- Process full-cycle hourly payroll, including calculations for hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Assist with payroll adjustments, retroactive pay, and terminations.
- Prepare and submit remittances and statutory filings.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate and timely financial data.
- Compile and submit government reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Participate in external audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Prepare reports for Senior Management.
- Maintain precise electronic and physical records.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and GAAP standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficient in GAAP and accounting regulations.
- Strong competency in accounting and payroll software, as well as MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bondable.
