About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing internally and externally
  • Formulate reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts
  • Contribute to organization-wide initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls by collaborating with business partners and providing assistance on special requests
  • Analyze financial data and present financial findings including trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks
  • Assign resources to Ad-hoc projects when necessary
  • Prepare monthly consolidated Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance sheet flux analysis for management reports
  • Continuously enhance automation of accounting and reporting processes
  • Execute monthly accounting closure procedures with deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAAP
Requirements
  • Proficiency in corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • In-depth knowledge of journal entries
  • Familiarity with Rebates is a plus
  • Preference for SAP R/4 experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to comprehend complex instructions
  • Efficient in self-directed time management and workload prioritization
  • Initiative to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Thrives in a dynamic and evolving work environment
  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials preferred
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience
  • Detail-oriented and capable of independent work
  • Previous experience in public accounting is a bonus
