We are seeking a highly motivated Fire Systems Sales Representative to join our team at Chubb Fire & Security Group.



The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, growing the fire systems business in Northern Alberta, and overseeing all aspects of project management, client management, quoting, onsite visits, and equipment delivery. The role requires strong technical knowledge of fire systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and engineers.



As a sales representative, you will be expected to develop new accounts, follow up on leads, and maintain relationships with existing clients. You will also be responsible for preparing quotes, staying current with product features and legislation, and conducting site surveys to determine customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage key accounts, including Suncor/Syncrude, and grow the fire systems business in Northern Alberta.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, client management, quoting, onsite visits, and equipment delivery.
  • Develop new accounts, follow up on company-generated leads, and service existing customers.
  • Prepare quotes for new and prospective customers.
  • Maintain client rapport by understanding current and future needs and responding promptly.
  • Stay current with product features, legislation, and regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine customer requirements.
  • Quote systems with technical accuracy and within Chubb pricing guidelines.
  • Travel to client sites, complete surveys, and design systems that meet customer needs.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Experience designing complex fire solutions for large construction projects.
  • Experience managing complex fire projects and dealing with multiple trades.
  • Experience working with contractors, engineers, and distributors.
  • Technical knowledge of fire systems or ability to quickly learn products.
  • Proven sales experience in B2B services with strong prospecting skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
