Position OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Accountant who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a significant impact for our clients. This position requires strong accounting, taxation, controllership, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Compilation and Review Engagements: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Personal and Corporate Tax Returns: Handle tax returns for individuals and corporations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Government Remittances and Elections: Manage government remittances and elections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Controllership and Accounting Management Services: Provide controllership and accounting management services in a corporate environment, ensuring financial stability and growth.
- CPA Designation: Possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Public Practice Experience: Have at least 5 years of public practice experience.
- Technical Skills: Be proficient in Caseware, Profile, MS Office, SAGE50, and QuickBooks.
- Language Skills: Be detail-oriented, accurate, and fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Corporate Experience: Have 3 years of experience in a corporate environment at the controllership/accounting manager level.
