Fleming & Company, a reputable accounting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Senior Bookkeeper / Administration. With 35 years of experience in providing exceptional accounting, taxation, and business services, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and a positive work-life balance.
Position OverviewAs a Senior Bookkeeper / Administration, you will play a crucial role in managing full-scope bookkeeping for our firm and clients, preparing firm invoices, and providing administrative support. Your professionalism and knowledge will be essential in warmly greeting our diverse range of clients, both in person and on the phone.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Perform full-scope bookkeeping for the accounting firm and clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
- Invoice Preparation: Prepare and manage the firm's invoices, ensuring prompt payment and maintaining a positive cash flow.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the firm and clients, handling a variety of tasks with competence and efficiency.
- Client Relations: Greet clients warmly and knowledgeably, ensuring professionalism in all interactions and building strong relationships.
- Technical Skills: Utilize MSOffice (Outlook, Excel, Word) effectively, as well as other accounting software, to perform tasks with accuracy and speed.
- Experience: At least 5 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience, with a strong background in accounting and finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAGE50, as well as strong competency in MSOffice (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Personal Qualities: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Accounting Firm Experience: Experience working in an accounting firm, with knowledge of industry-specific software and procedures.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with other accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
