We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Professional to join our client's Corporate Accounting & Tax team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities- Expense Processing: Process and payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursement claims.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile cash, payables, and payroll related accounts.
- Journal Voucher Preparation: Prepare and enter journal vouchers.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare data/schedules used in financial reports.
- Policy Development: Provide input for the development of policies.
- Procedure Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain corporate accounting procedures.
- Tax Filing Support: Support tax filing requests, including running and preparing reports, tax payment confirmation, and resolving filing issues with tax authorities.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required by the tax team.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
- Accounting Skills: Strong accounting skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of financial reporting and relevant accounting standards.
- Complex Organizations: Experience with complex decentralized organizations, ideally financial institutions.
- MS Dynamics NAV: Experience using MS Dynamics NAV accounting software.
- Corporate Tax: Experience with corporate income tax and indirect tax filings.
