We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Cloud Nine Bar & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards and that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu requirements.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu requirements.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
