Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Analyst to join our team in supporting the Sophis application for the equity derivatives business. This is a critical application used for life cycle management of trades from trade feed to PnL and risk management and settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to front office, middle office, and back office teams to ensure business functions run smoothly.
  • Maintain the stability and availability of the application, as well as continuous software releases to add features and enhancements.
  • Orchestrate software releases that occur after hours on weekdays, primarily Fridays.
  • Participate in an on-call weekend rotation for issue resolution, triaging, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Oversee the integrity of data quality derived from official EOD Market Data and positions priced by our Model Library.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience supporting applications on equity derivatives or similar business.
  • Proficiency in SQL language, preferably Oracle.
  • Python scripting experience, 1-2 years.
  • Monitoring experience of high availability trading applications, batch processing, or similar.
  • Job Scheduler experience, i.e., BMC Control-M, Autosys, Cron, etc.
  • Windows Server experience, 3 years.
  • Linux experience, 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITRS Geneos Monitoring Software experience.
  • Experience supporting risk management and analytics applications/infrastructure.
  • Kubernetes/Docker experience.
  • GRID/Datasynapse experience.
