About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure they are properly disposed of.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a high level of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
