Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, emptying trash cans, washing windows, and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
Working Conditions:

The Building Maintenance Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The position requires physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
