Job Title: Building Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Caretaker to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our building.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years; permanent position; 35 hours per week; English language.

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; ability to work with minimal supervision.
