Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of building systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Other Duties: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Building Maintenance Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
