About the Role

The Abbotsford School District is seeking a skilled and dynamic Uncertified Employee Teaching on Call to provide temporary instructional support to students. As a member of our team, you will engage with students, manage classroom behavior, and ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide temporary instructional support to students
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Interact with and guide students of all ages
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be available for short-notice assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Experience working or volunteering with children and youth
  • Ability to ensure safety and security of students
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
What We Offer

As a member of the Abbotsford Teachers' Union (ATU), the pay rate for an Uncertified Employee Teaching on Call is $315.93 per day plus other payments as per BC Employment Standards Act.
