Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in their home environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that individuals receive the care and assistance they need to maintain their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Work will primarily take place in the employer's residence.
  • Conditions: The environment is non-smoking.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
Work Experience

Experience in teaching or caregiving is beneficial.

Safety and Security
