Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals requiring assistance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Work will primarily take place in the employer's residence.
  • Conditions: Non-smoking environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as directed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Deliver personalized care tailored to individual needs.
Experience and Skills
  • Area of Work Experience: Experience in teaching or caregiving is beneficial.
  • Security: A criminal record check is mandatory.
