Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in their home environment. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Work will primarily take place in the employer's residence.
  • Conditions: Non-smoking environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in teaching or similar roles is beneficial.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks and repetitive activities.
