At Mitchel Lincoln, we're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Demand Planning and Forecast Lead to bridge the gap between our customer service and production planning teams.

This newly created role will play a crucial part in optimizing our 0–12 month demand planning strategy among our customers and partners.

The successful candidate will develop planning strategies and analyze weekly data to enhance forecast accuracy.

You'll gather all information relating to demand over a 0 to 12-month horizon, for the five Mitchel Lincoln Group plants.

Using your expertise, you'll develop strategies to smooth demand and meet both client needs and internal prerequisites.

Optimizing production planning by working closely with production, customer service and the sales team is key to this role.

You'll follow up with production closely on any increase in the required production or storage capacity to avoid potential delays to the established forecast.

To be successful in this position, you must identify solutions to improve the supply network using the data collected.

You'll ensure that production priorities are met by keeping track of the schedule and making any necessary changes, taking into account incomplete orders and new priority orders.

A Bachelor's degree in operations management, SCM or industrial engineering, or any other combination of relevant training is required.

We're looking for someone with at least five years of experience in production planning at a manufacturing company.

Advanced knowledge of statistics and ability to work with forecasting algorithms are essential skills for this role.

The ideal candidate will have high-levels of French and English proficiency (spoken and written) as well as proficiency in Office suite: Excel (advanced).

A strong computer skillset and reliability, autonomy and team spirit are also important qualities for this position.
