Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Works Craft Burgers & Beer. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 3-4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food quality, customer satisfaction, and staff performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus.
    • Flexibility.
    • Team player.
Working Conditions
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language required.
