Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1295322 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and on time.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our food service needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules that meet the needs of our business, ensuring that our staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, providing support with housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in our food service operations.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, providing them with the support they need to succeed in our business.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, ensuring that they feel valued and supported in their roles.
